By Shinkansen (Bullet Train):

- Purchase a ticket for the Tokaido Shinkansen. There are three types of trains: Nozomi, Hikari, and Kodama. The Nozomi is the fastest, taking about 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach Kyoto, while Hikari takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes, and Kodama takes about 4 hours.
- Board the Shinkansen and enjoy the ride to Kyoto Station.
